Bridge Green Upcycle, a company that specialises in Lithium-ion battery circularity and critical mineral recovery, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) to develop advanced technologies in critical minerals.
The MoU builds on an existing relationship between Bridge Green and IIT Madras and aims to cater to the global demand for critical minerals.
The collaboration will work breakthrough technologies that transform waste into valuable resources for the future, by combining AI, advanced materials science, and process innovation.
The MoU was exchanged between V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras and Balki Iyer, Founder & Chairman, Bridge Green during SustainX 2026, the flagship sustainability conference of IIT Madras.
