Perez Hilton’s recovery has entered a new and crucial phase, with his family revealing that the focus is now shifting toward his mental health after weeks of intensive hospital treatment. Speaking on The Perez Hilton Podcast with Chris Booker on August 24, Perez’s brother-in-law Tom said the 48-year-old remains under care for multiple physical injuries and his mental well-being. Perez was hospitalized on August 4 following an apparent self-harm incident during a TikTok livestream. Tom said the celebrity blogger suffered multiple self-inflicted lacerations, some requiring surgery, and was also treated for a possible overdose and broken bones.
