NEW DELHI: Union health and family welfare minister JP Nadda underwent angioplasty at AIIMS, New Delhi, on August 17 and is stable, the hospital said on Tuesday.An AIIMS press release said, “JP Nadda, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare underwent angioplasty on 17th August 2026 and is stable and under observation in the Department of Cardiology, AIIMS, New Delhi.”Earlier, Nadda had been admitted to AIIMS Delhi after experiencing uneasiness, the hospital said.He was evaluated and underwent several tests, including a coronary angiography.Following the evaluation, Nadda was admitted to the Department of Cardiology for observation.The hospital said his condition is currently stable.(With agency inputs)
