Gorakhpur: With the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections approaching, BJP national general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in charge Vinod Tawde reviewed the party’s organisational preparedness in Gorakhpur and urged workers to stay poll-ready, strengthen booth-level coordination and maintain regular contact with people.During his three-day visit to Gorakhpur, Tawde held separate meetings at the party office with office-bearers, elected representatives, senior workers, and media and social media teams.Discussions focused on strengthening the grassroots organisation, maintaining regular public outreach and accelerating preparations ahead of the state polls.Emphasising the importance of the party’s booth-level network, Tawde said the organisation’s real strength lies in its dedicated workers and strong structure extending from the regional and district levels down to the booths. He called for regular coordination among office-bearers at all levels and said organisational activities should be guided by feedback received from the grassroots.Tawde urged workers to maintain continuous contact with people and directed them to personally connect with at least four families each and understand their local concerns and expectations.He asked public representatives to remain in regular touch with party workers and ensure that public feedback and local issues are effectively communicated within the organisation.Tawde said the experience of senior leaders should be utilised in election preparations alongside the energy of younger workers.He stressed the need to communicate the party’s activities effectively through evolving platforms of public engagement and to build strategies based on information collected from booth-level interactions with voters.
