Ara: A 50-year-old shopkeeper, Lavkush Gupta, died on the way to Ara Sadar Hospital in the early hours of Friday after being bitten by a poisonous snake. He was a resident of Pasaur village under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district.His younger brother, Guddu Shah, said, “My elder brother Lavkush Gupta went to sleep on Thursday night after having dinner. At around midnight, he was bitten by a poisonous snake. We rushed him to Ara Sadar hospital but he died on the way.”Charpokhari police personnel conducted the post-mortem on Friday. Lavkush is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
