PANAJI: A 27-year-old Russian, Pavel Lenskii, was dead by suicide in his rented apartment at Bhatir Waddo in Morjim on Monday.His friend Roman Raibinkin, also a Russian, told police that Lenskii had been depressed for the past few days after losing his job and was facing financial difficulties.Police said Raibinkin last spoke to Lenskii on Monday morning when they had breakfast together. After breakfast, Raibinkin went to his room. Around 1pm he found Lenskii’s bedroom door open and discovered his body.Police are awaiting the postmortem report and have so far ruled out foul play.
