Patna: Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport will launch a 24-day Yatri Seva Abhiyan from Thursday, rolling out a series of passenger-centric initiatives aimed at improving travel experience and service quality.According to a press release from the airport, the campaign will feature dedicated assistance desks for first-time flyers, senior citizens, persons with reduced mobility and families travelling with children. Passengers will also be encouraged to share feedback through QR-based systems and the “One Question-One Change” initiative.To enhance passenger engagement, the airport will organise children’s activities, aviation quizzes and interactive challenges, while a health camp at the arrival area will offer basic check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar and BMI tests.A relaxation zone equipped with games such as chess and carrom will be set up in the security hold area. The airport will also showcase Bihar’s culture through folk performances, handicrafts and local products, besides distributing saplings under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign.Darbhanga Airport will also observe the Yatri Seva Abhiyan focusing on passenger convenience, service quality, cleanliness and safety. “Our effort is to ensure that every passenger at Darbhanga Airport receives better facilities, respectful treatment and a pleasant travel experience,” said Dilip Kumar, airport director, Airports Authority of India, Darbhanga.
