Buxar admin to conduct ‘Cyber Tuesday’ in 24 govt schools

Buxar: To promote cyber safety among students, the district administration will organise a special ‘Cyber Tuesday’ programme in 24 govt high schools across 11 blocks of Buxar.District education officer Indra Kumar Karn said the campaign aims to educate students about cybercrime and safe internet use. Buxar DPRO Alok Narayan Vats said students will be made aware of online fraud, identity theft, cyberbullying, phishing scams, fake social media accounts and misuse of personal information.They will be advised not to share passwords, Aadhaar numbers, bank details or OTPs with strangers and to report suspicious online activities to parents, teachers or the police. The sessions will also focus on responsible social media use, strong passwords, avoiding unknown links and staying alert to online scams.Officials said the initiative will help create a safer digital environment for students and reduce their risk of becoming victims of cybercrime.
