Patna: The Bihar Congress on Thursday lodged an FIR against BJP state president Sanjay Saraogi, Union minister Ram Kripal Yadav, MLA Sanjay Gupta, former MLAs Arun Kumar Sinha, Hari Bhushan Thakur Bachol, Prem Ranjan Patel and Lal Babu Prasad, along with nine other BJP functionaries, for allegedly leading an attack on its state headquarters, Sadaquat Ashram, on Wednesday.The FIR was filed by Congress state headquarters office secretary Anil Kumar at Patliputra police station, seeking an impartial probe into the incident.In his complaint, Kumar alleged that around 500 BJP workers, led by the named leaders, stormed the Sadaquat Ashram campus, assaulted Congress workers and leaders, vandalised vehicles and damaged glass panels.Among those injured in the alleged attack were AICC Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru, state Congress president Rajesh Kumar, MLA Abhishek Ranjan and former MLA Anil Kumar Tunna.
